Description
The AstroMasks App provides hundreds of Hartman/Schneider style objective masks which can be viewed, e-mailed, saved to camera roll as well as printed out on devices using iOS 4.3 and later with AirPrint . In addition to the predesigned templates, also included are step by step illustrated instructions, material lists and other "how to" advice allowing the entire family to join in on the fun of creating something new. Whether an arm chair astronomer or die hard observer, there is information for both to enjoy with chapters that discuss in detail the fine art of focusing for astronomical imaging or simple backyard star gazing. To complement these sections, they are supplemented with associated projects such as a DYI micrometer focuser and artificial star for cloudy night testing of your masks...
