Description
Astroutils is a powerful yet simple utility that can calculate:
- daily ephemerides: Sun equatorial coordinates, Sun rise and Sun set, Carringhton rotation number, Moon equatorial coordinates, Moon rise and Moon set, Moon distance to Earth, Moon age, Moon phase and P.A.B.L.;
- times: julian date, day of year, universal time (UT), Greenwich sidereal time (GST), local sidereal time (LST);
- major planets ephemerides: equatorial and horizontal coordinates, hour angle, rise and set, elongation, phase and phase angle, angular size, apparent magnitude, distance to Earth, runtime of light, distance to Sun;
- main characteristics of binoculars and telescopes.
