Description

Aton picks up the theme of two high priests vying for control over four temples in Ancient Egypt. It plays fast and fun as a two person area control game. The game tries to bring the theme up with everything, the box that has a great colourful design and turning it, it resembles an entrance to a temple which was fun to see. All the components are pretty small even the box isn’t really big which makes it quite portable, actually since the board can be separated in small pieces it makes you believe the intention is for the game to be truly portable, and to continually follow us around, the cards also small are actually the right size for the game. Aton doesn’t take that much play and since there’s more than one way for it to end it still has enough strategy to be more than the ordinary filler, when you play it a couple of times you see that there’s quite some depth into it but it still won’t take much time to play.
