One of the greatest challenges a child with autism has is communication. Often children with autism find it difficult to verbally express their needs and feelings. A child with autism has a lot to say but using his or her voice can be difficult. It doesnt have to end there! If you provide another way of communicating you will be surprise! We cant stress enough how important it is to teach your child to spell. It can be done!! Pictures To Learn, Autism App: Learn To Spell Fruits will do just that! This wonderful app is full of beautiful photographs of various fruits. There is also a large keyboard to make typing easy! When the word is spelled correctly the word is read aloud too! There is visual and audio feedback as well! Its easy to use and fun! The way to get your student started is by guiding your childs finger over the correct letters on the keyboard and before you know it your child will be spelling words!!
