AVT ChapterIt Lite at Mac App Store analyse

AVT ChapterIt Lite is a powerful tool to add and edit chapters of video files. Those chapters work with most of the Players of your Mac as well with iOS-Devices, like iPad or iPhone.

You can manually add, edit or remove chapters or use the built-in functions to automatically add chapters. If your movie fades to black between different parts you can let ChapterIt find those black frames to place the chapters there. Of course you can also import chapters.


Supported Video file types:

QuickTime movies (mov)


Import chapters from:

TEXT or XML files (no FCPXML)
QuickTime, MPEG4 or Matroska videos
DVD (.ifo files)


IMPORTANT NOTE:

If you need support for more file formats you should buy the full version.
The full version will support more video formats, like MPEG4-movies (mp4, m4v).
An additional key feature of the full version is the import of chapters from Final Cut Pro XML files (FCPXML).
