• Also available for OS X in the Mac App Store Backgammon Online was the first internet-capable backgammon app in the App Store and Mac App Store. Play anywhere at any time against real people. You can choose between several servers to play on: • the vivid First Internet Backgammon Server (FIBS, see fibs.com) or the similar TigerGammon (see ti-ga.com) • or Game Center FEATURES • On FIBS there are also very sophisticated bots of different playing strengths which are a serious challenge to even the most skilled Backgammon players • Creating a new FIBS account is just a matter of finding a suitable user name, no web-site visits or personal informations required • Automatic forced moves and bear-off • Integrated FIBS Chat and Game Center Text and Voice Chat • All aborted matches are automatically saved • Ratings for each player are based on match results and other factors, thus you can easily find a player with your playing ability. The same algorithm is used for both FIBS and Game Center accounts, thus it is easily compared • Finished matches can be saved in the MAT file format and later downloaded to your desktop computer using iTunes. The matches can then be analyzed using professional backgammon software • Tap or drag or multi-drag your tiles back and forth, using backgammon on a device has never felt so natural • You can also play offline (use as an Backgammon Board)

Meilleure App de backgammon testée. Accès aux serveur fibs, donc nombreux joueurs et bots disponibles. Très bonne ergonomie. Manque peut être un mode solo off-line quand on ne peut pas se connecter.

Interface très sympa

Mais cest tout, car les bots trichent, terminal à lappui. Il faut sattendre à ce quil fasse 14 doubles de suite et ce pendant plusieurs parties. Il ny a absolument pas de hasard dans les dés. Gros programme de triche. Dommage. Un outil intéressant néanmoins : le terminal. Le copier après chaque parties permet danalyser les coups suspectes au départ pour ne plus laisser de doutes à la fin. Si vous arrivez à taper jusquà 7 pions, il arrivera systématiquement à les sortir en 2 doubles à la seule porte que vous laissez ouverte. Très belle programmation qui gère les dés à 100%. Très amusant à partir du moment ou lon accepte de jouer avec des dés pipés.

2.0 ... und nochmal den Gesamtpreis zu zahlen ... Da sollte man etwas erwarten können !? ... Leider falsch gedacht! ... die Steine sind nun beim ziehen eher peinlich animiert und sehen designtechnisch genauso pflundrig aus wie bisher ... 2 neue Layouts sind neu dabei, in einem sind die Steine ebenso wie vorhin beschrieben. In dem anderen ist es am Rand so dunkel, dass man die Buttons kaum bis gar nicht sehen kann, also völlig unpraktikabel. ... Soweit mal mein erster Eindruck ... Meiner Meinung nach kann man getrost bei der 1. Version bleiben und sich die lieblose 2er Version zum NOCHMALIGEN Neupreis komplett sparen. Die meisten App-Entwickler wuerden aus dieser "2.0" Version bestenfalls ein kostenloses Miniupdate machen.
