Balanced Checkbook at Mac App Store analyse

I like what I see but I am coming form another app which I have used for years, I have about 1100 lines of entries and I am not doing it by hand. This app has an import but it can’t import qif or cvs so I have no idea what it can import. It has no help file and if you go to the website for support it has no listing for this program so I an removing it from my computer and running a security test becuase most apps aren’t useless if they don’t do what they say then they are probably doing something else. I run more toward suspcious so y first thought is malicious. It does appear to make entries though but I don;t know what the app is doing with the data that I put in. Like I say if a app doesn’t work as advertised I assume it’s working as something else.

I’ve been looking for an app to keep track of my checking account for awhile. This looked like the one. So I entered my information for the last six weeks.I loved the interface and the ease of entry. I loved the simple design. But when I went to reconcile by bank statement it did not have this function!!! DId the developer not unde stand the term “balance checkbook”? I’m not sure what the purpose of the app is???
