The functionality of the app is great. Easy to navigate and has a nice look. Lab results go by year and not date. The vaccination report is not update d and this is something I have always struggled with Banfield. There online system and actual location systems do match up. You also can not update billing info online. You have to call a location to update billing info or your account will be put on hold.
Good for pet info, but missing billing info
I can learn about my pets currency of vacc.s and treatments, but I cant update my billing info or payment info through this app. I use this app most often for my pet updates and appoint reminders and for my pet details, it is helpful. The app is only missing the ability to manage my personal billing info. Please add this!
TL;DR - Ok, but needs lots of work
- App is good for seeing when the next vaccinations and comprehensive exams are due, but I wish it would remind you ahead of time. I dont check this app every day so reminders would be great. - Its a bit behind on updating records after office visits so it gives me a quick scare every time I see Im "behind" on vaccines. - Also it would be great to see what things like differential exam and electrolytes are and what they are for - needs more info on what offered products are and my pet needs. And what is or is not included in my plan, and how much it would cost. (Like dental? Whats included in that procedure? Am I already paying for it? Please tell me!) - Appointment requests are available (but NOT an appt scheduler - appt REQUEST) - not sure what is being sent to my hospital or not (more likely nothing). Something about a Pet Journal does? But I have no idea why youd need to send your shopping list there. Maybe good for questions (photos?) of pets conditions for the next checkup? - Other than these I can think of right now, app is colorful, the bullet points are big (besides being behind on office visit updates), and office hours are easy to find + instant call your hospital button (Does Banfield actually look at these reviews and think of what needs to be improved in their app?)

This app is great, very clear to understand, love how all your pets information is already there.
Great but a few suggestions.
First, I would like to start by saying this is a fantastic start to something that could be game changing for the vet world (doctors and families) tells due dates for preventive care; age of pet; personalized pages for each pet, etc. no major hic-ups so far. Now for my suggestions, I would like to see the ability to request a particular veterinarian when scheduling an appointment through the app. As it stands, you can only make a general appointment: I.e, automatically fits you with the next available vet. Our pets have seen the same vet since they were puppies and kittens. Second, it would be nice to have the ability to check how much the monthly bill would be with all pets included. I know you can look at the 20 page receipt they print but it would be nice to have a quick convenient way to check and perhaps even pay through the app. Lastly, it would be nice to have the ability to edit the names of current pets on the plan. A few of my animals names are spelt incorrectly. Furthermore, it would also be convenient to order flea meds, upgrade plan etc through the app. All in all it is a great start to something that could be game changing. I hope you have the opportunity to read this and consider my recommendations. If in fact these suggestions are implemented, this app would be an easy 5 star!
Cant change payment info
Its it impossible to change/update payment info but for Banfield they make every attempt/effort to call you, txt you, email you, and they even spend money in mail you letters. So as hard/easy is they to send you stuff, they should do that in this world is so easy to do to let customers to update and change their billing info. I had to call, be transfer to at leas 3 people. Wait ohh please hold on let me transfer you bla bla bla etc. costumer service is really bad. Banfield: please allow customers to pay/one time only and/or just let us update our payment info. Is not like we are getting services for free which at the end off course we the customers end it up paying. So also stop offering "unlimited clinic visits and whatsoever" because if trying to customers update our pet services is like wasting a lot of time/effort/money/ And off course I get the same call from your front desk asking to get payment info which the app doesnt work at all. Thank you Banfield hospital !!
