Il Baskin è una nuova attività sportiva che si ispira al basket ma ha caratteristiche particolari ed innovative. Un regolamento, composto da 10 regole, ne governa il gioco conferendogli caratteristiche incredibilmente ricche di dinamicità e imprevedibilità. Questo nuovo sport è stato pensato per permettere a giovani normodotati e giovani disabili di giocare nella stessa squadra (composta sia da ragazzi che da ragazze!). In effetti, il Baskin permette la partecipazione attiva di giocatori con qualsiasi tipo di disabilità (fisica e/o mentale) che consenta il tiro in un canestro. Si mette così in discussione la rigida struttura degli sport ufficiali e questa proposta, effettuata nella scuola, diventa un laboratorio di società.
