HOW DOES IT WORK?
Filter on Beam by cause and discover brands you can shop at funding causes you care about.
Go to purchase stuff you need (like lunch, clothes, potted plants!) and select a nonprofit that the brand supports at checkout.
The brand donates ~1% of your order to the nonprofit you selected, at no extra cost to you.
Go to Beam to track your impact towards tangible goals for nonprofits - like funding 2 college prep courses, or 250 early detection screenings for breast cancer.
HOW IS BEAM FREE?
Our founders made Beam because they realized a lot of us want to make a difference every day, and we have to buy things all the time.
Most of us (91%!) would prefer to spend our money with brands that are actually mission-driven (directly supporting nonprofits, consistent business practices with the values they show on social media, etc.) but its tough when youre not really sure which brands are walking-the-walk, rather than talking-the-social-impact-talk. And for brands that are actually investing in giving back, its hard to cut through the noise to reach people who care about those same causes. Thats where Beam comes in.
Beam gets paid by the purpose-driven brands in our network, who love that our community helps them reach customers who care about the same social issues, and our tech allows people (like you!) to directly participate in their mission. Beam never takes a cut of the donation and is committed to our mission of driving $10B to high-impact nonprofits.
