Meeting in a crowded square seemed like a good idea at the time, but now how are you going to stand out so your friends can find you? Use Beckon to turn your phone into a beacon so your friends can find you quickly and get to your show, dinner, or meeting on time. With Beckon, you can have your screen flash between two colours of your choosing and display custom text. This way, you can give your friends the colours and letters beforehand so they know what they are looking for. "Look for the phone flashing blue and gold with the letter A". The sooner your friends find you, the sooner you can get to the things that matter. This version of the app does not use location services.
