Upgrade Does NOT Work!!

WayneCaissie · 14 years ago · v2

Upgrade doesnt work… I keep trying to download the update but it says "wrong hash" and fails. This is a great app for a fledgling programming hobbyist. Not too heavy. I like it otherwise but wish the update ould get fixed...

Very Nice Quick Learning Tool

Lynn0019428 · 14 years ago

Was hesitant on buying an app with no reviews or shown ratings, but didnt regret getting it one bit. I found this to be a great learning tool on all the basics of C I needed to know for my class (especially when offline) and it even shows how to get started with it all in Xcode. For a simple, nicely designed, nondistractive review on C programming, this is it! Only thing Id really like to see added to this is the option for fullscreen, in order to diminish any other distractions and focus entirely on the lessons.

Great General Introduction

Zomboy2011 · 14 years ago

I wanted to get more into programming and decided to start with C. For fun I decided to search the Mac App Store for C programming and found this app as well as Xcode4 (which I recommend installing.) This app will not really teach you how to code but it will introduce you to syntax and layouts as well a great general introduction of C programming. I recommend it for a starting point, to gather more knowledge and help decide if the C programming language is where you want to begin.

A great starting point!

This app is a great way to dive into computer programming if you have little to no prior experience. The onlly complain I have is that some of the examples are not explained clearly. but other than that, it is great.

Not an "Application" at all.

Its a fixed window of text which contains less information than a basic web tutorial, and which has no user interaction whatsoever, not even rudimentary exercises. Your $2 would be better spent on random iTunes songs.
