Love this app!!!

I have been searching for an app for Christian meditation. Really I was looking for help relaxing, resting in my spirit. I have breast cancer and was told meditation would help me. Anything I found wasnt user friendly or it cost a lot or it required that I go through many learning steps. I am at a sensitive time when I need to hear that God is with me and I dont have the energy for this type of output. I am so blessed to have found this app. It is exactly what I needed to prepare my head, heart, spirit, and body for healing. I have been able to rest. I feel prepared to face the day. By far this is my favorite app to date.

Love this App, but please make a pause button!

Thank you for this app! It has meant a lot to me and my growing relationship with God. I like the guided prayers and the soothing voice. I would love to see this App continue to grow....maybe with the addition of more guided prayers? And definitely with the ability to pause or rewind. As other reviewers have mentioned, while I try really hard to carve out a quiet time for prayer, sometimes Im interrupted by my kids or husband :) I would love to be able to pause and continue!!!

Excellent introduction to contemplative prayer!

As a busy mother of young children, sometimes Im lucky to squeeze in a few sleepy prayers before bed. This app offers something different: rather than rushed, robotically uttered praying, this app encourages you to relax, take your time, and use your own words to really speak to God. There are many guidelines, suggestions for prayer, and scripture readings to complement your prayer, as well as soothing music and peaceful imagery to enjoy while listening to the audio meditations. The speaker has a gentle voice and is pleasant to listen to. There is an option to easily email what you have read to a friend, and a message is added (something to the effect of "I thought of you while reading this"). The only reason I gave this 4/5 stars instead of 5/5 is because you cannot pause the audio meditations and cone back to your place later. I would love to block off 25 minutes for these prayers but inevitably I am disrupted by a crying baby or an older child with an immediate need. If a pause feature were added it would be 5 stars for sure. I learned of this app while listening to one of the Pauline sisters being interviewed on Catholic radio. This app is such a wonderful way for the sisters to live out their charism.

After attending a Richard Rohr conference on Contemplative Prayer I decided to search for an app that could be of help to me. Couldnt believe it when I found this one! Just what I needed. Beautifully done. Thank you!
