Great Audio Bible just lacks one feature...

...a sleep timer. App would be perfect if you updated it with that. Anyway, great Bible, love Scourby.

Computerized Reading

I did not know this would be the computerized reading of the Bible. It is OK if you do not mind that, but I was looking for a heartfelt reading and was dissapointed. If it had been advertised as a "computerized audio" I might not given it the same rating.

The voice is not that bad and DOES NOT sound like a computer. The ability to rewind a go forward with the swipe of a finger is very helpful.

I like this audio Bible version because it is the KJV. As other readers have mentioned, it is a text-to-speech voice reading, but a good one that does not sound like a computer... it is easy to listen to, but is not dramatic. For those who prefer to listen to the words rather than a performance it wont be a bother. That being said, what DOES bother me is that there is background music behind it all! That really surprised me and no one else has mentioned it. It would be nice to be able to turn that off for those of us who like to focus on the words.

User control options

Please allow the user to control the playback speed. Also provide the option for being able to turn the music off. A daily reading plan would be nice. I was impressed that the computerized voice sounds as good as it does.
