Need Some Work

Needs better way to navigate through the books. Also when you get to the bottom of a page, you have to slide the page up and hold to read the sentences on bottom of the page. Whatever process was used to transfer the text from one form to another did not work well because some of the letter, spacing and punctuation is altered making it difficult to read.

Bible Scholar

I certainly enjoy the selection of great works you have, but where is the search function for any of it? And any great reader needs the option to change the font. Good job, but needs a search function update!

What a disappointment

Simply put, I want my $7 back. This app does not do what is promised. It does not navigate well and it cannot find the simplest biblical term to offer a definition or insight. Whole words and phrases are all in symbols as if they did not transfer well to to your app. Seriously, I want my money back; Im not kidding about that.

Need improvement

This app is ok, but it has the potential to be better. For start the dictionary could be more better by allowing searching to locate actual words instead of trying to search for the word you want through flipping the next screen. In addition, the the incorporation of paragraphs would make a huge difference for clarity. Finally please make this app retina support. The images are terrible they look so blurry. With all of these updates this app is 5/5 stars because it is essential for any student of the Bible.

Ok but needs a fix

Annoying that text runstogether on a few words per page, esp when you are reading lotsof pages. Other than that a great resource!

Rich content but needs more work

The formatting of the various books in Bible Scholar could be much better. It appears that text was captured via "scan and OCR". No boldfacing and no paragraph breaks. There are odd characters where accents or special symbols should be. Some words have slid into the wrong place in the midst of a sentence. Font size is too large, even when slider is all the way to the left. I didnt understand how the search feature highlights the words in yellow until the developer wrote to me. There is no landscape orientation available for reading. Every so often, the app takes a long time to start up as it initializes the books - more than 5 minutes. I changed my rating from 2 to 3 stars. Ill increase my rating once i see that the text is cleaned up and the search tool is available from any page within a book. I encourage the developers to keep up their efforts. I appreciate that they wrote to me!

This App Rocks!

Great app. The June 2010 Update added a Search feature. It is simply awesome. You guys have outdone yourselves. A whole library with over 14,000 pages on one App? Wow. I am definitely impressed. The content within this App is a scholars gold mine. Now I can do my research on Church History, write notes on my studies, view commentaries and Bible dictionaries right from my phone on one App. Thank you so much.
