Description
Big or Small provides a structured approach to assessing and teaching childrens comprehension of spoken language and basic concepts like size, quantity, and numbers. This app is designed for parents and children who may have language delays, or it can be a helpful tool to verify that their children are developing as expected.
The idea for this app arose from a simple question for parents:

This app is a straightforward, compact tool to determine if your children might have language delays based on the concepts they grasp. Additionally, it introduces more complex concepts like quantity and numbers, helping your children progress and track their understanding.
*** For international users: Even if English is not your mother tongue, you can still use this app by communicating in your language with your children. For example, if the app displays or voices “Find a big A,” you can translate this instruction and speak to your children in your native language—it’s more about the concept of size than the letter itself. (Feel free to share your thoughts on localizing the app to include your spoken language). This could also be an opportunity to introduce English to your children, as the app includes 26 uppercase and lowercase letters and numbers up to 20.
