Thank you for purchasing Bili Wheel App. This App is first of its kind to develop onto a wheel on I phone by Dr. Peesay and Neonatal Nurse Corazon Papageorgopoulos RN,BSN. It is intended to those who manage neonatal jaundice. It helps neonatal staff apply guidelines (Including American Academy of Pediatrics) for the management of neonatal hyperbilirubinemia regardless of gestational age ELBW (early low birth weight) and VLBW(very low birth weight) infants.
It displays not only phototherapy guidelines but also when exchange transfusion need to be considered. In situations where an infant is sick, one may have to consider phototherapy and exchange transfusion earlier than mentioned on this Bili Wheel, on individual basis depending upon risk factors.
We have also developed wheel on a real data wheel made of plastic laminated that one can carry all the time in hand.
