The Schumann Resonance: All vibrating things in this world have their own, "natural" frequency which they are most comfortable with. When a thing is subjected to an external force that makes it vibrate at a frequency it vibes with the most, the thing responds joyfully, by vibrating at the maximum amplitude (energy). This phenomenon manifests throughout the universe. This natural frequency of that thing or body is known as its "resonating" or "resonant" frequency, and the phenomenon is known as "Resonance". For those of you who have watched or read The Secret, this will ring familiar. This app aims to attune you to this universal frequency and let the bodys cellular vibrations become aligned to the stationary wave in the environment. It is much like the two leaves of a bascule bridge aligning with each other. That is precisely the time when the consciousness (and aura) gets the chance to expand, go beyond the limitations of the body and spread itself into the vast expanse of the universe beyond. And this is an ineffable experience. When two vibrating systems are in resonance with each other, a rise in amplitude in the waves takes place. In our case, the brain and the global electric circuit resonance leads to a rise in amplitude in the waves dancing in our brain. Rise in amplitude causes a rise in our consciousness energy. Logically, at some point, damping forces set in, which prevent the amplitude to go beyond a certain level. Which is in our best interest too, for this damping protects us from an experience which we may not be prepared for. The trick, therefore, is to keep reaching and touching this amplitude, and gradually increasing its levels.

The concept is interesting, however this app stops all the time and continually needs to be restarted.

Lots of free apps have the same sound. No music here. No sleep timer. No background mode.

It looks like it took the developers of this app 5 minutes to create it. Theres no timer setting and just an on/off switch on the main page. Thats it!!! The app turns off if you try to open a different app. I think I might fall into a trance more from wondering why I wasted 5 dollars on this than listening to this tone. Why did I pay 5 bucks again??? At least add something to this app. How about sonething that moves, like a visual experience? And whats up with separating all the binaural beats into separate apps and charging 5 bucks each??? GET MIND WAVE 2 instead of this!!! I just found out that MIND WAVE 2 has Schumanns Resonance and about 20 other settings for half the price of this app.(and no I dont work for them. I just hate getting screwed for buying this app.) According to these guys thats a 200 dollar value.($5/setting) What do the developers expect? Praise for this cheapo looking program?

Pretty much junk. The Schumann Resonance is in reality ultra low frequency- actually inaudible to the human ear. However, much has been written about the beneficial effects of introducing the 7.83Hz tone into environment. This app is very audible--I wonder if the developers do that to "prove" that the app is working. Unfortunately, the sound that is produced becomes a "buzzing noise" after a few moments and thus quite irritating. Also, that app stops working after a few minutes, so you cant count on reliability here. I emailed what poses as support (only a third party in reality), and received no response. Save your money.
