Bingo Bingo Bongo at Mac App Store analyse

Bingo-Bango-Bongo (BBB) is a golf scoring (betting) game whereby points are awarded based on three "best" shots. These shots are called Bingo, Bango, and Bongo. Bingo is the first point to be awarded. This point is awarded to the player who first lands an approach shot to the green (regardless from how far off the green). Bango is the second point to be awarded. This point is awarded to the player who has the best approach shot (closest to the flag) after all players have reached the green. Bongo is the last point to be awarded. This point is awarded to the player who sinks the first putt. To be fair, each player MUST play in turn (or everyone must track the points/order of shots properly). The game can be played by two, three or four players. BBB is simple to score using my App, fun to play, and regardless of handicap levels, each player has equal chances to obtain points. High handicappers are given first crack at Bingo, and even Bango (if the shot is very close to the flag). Mid-handicappers will have the most "second chances". And low handicappers will work hard to get points as they must be on their game when others miss their opportunities. Once on the green and putting, it is very much like match play - first player in wins Bongo. There are some tactics that can come into play when playing BBB. Sometimes playing the best shot you can may not be the right move. For example if the player who plays an approach shot first and makes the green (wins Bingo) but has the ball a fair distance from the flag for "Bango". Now, what does the next player to play do (for Bango)? Aim for the green/flag or lay up for a chip or putt onto the green from close in for the best attempt to win Bango, and maybe Bongo as well? Decisions, decisions!!! Remember Tin Cup? Just remember, BBB is all about the points, not the score - especially if each point means a buck or two! My App will award double points for players winning all three points on a hole, and will also provide the ability to track the actual strokes per hole per player. After the round, click the "pot of gold" button, and the App will tally the results including "who owes who", and a scorecard. All results can be emailed as well.
