I have been waiting for something like this to come along on tge iPhone. I am a big fan of metal slug if you like those games get this. The price is right on tge money. The only thin I could think of as a con is no background music during gameplay. Something about just sound fx makes it feal a little empty. Other than that. Great rpg element of upgrading stats. Gameplay is simple and fun. And the art is well done. I am verry happy with this and look forward to any updates.
Potential for greatness
This is a great game with great potential. Howeve the translation needs a bit of work and we definetly need either in game music or the ability to play our own.

I have not given any game more than a five star ever in a review. But this game has the best control, best look and feel and is quite amazing in every way, I hope more updates and more games like this come out because this is one of the best games i have played on the ipod (BUY IT). It has the look and feel of megaman but better. It has a good story, and great graphics, being able to jump into a robot and use it to attack is great too, the controls for the robot are not as great as for the character but u cant get hurt, so im not complaining. Im not sure exactly yet what the females being held hostage have to do with things, seems kinda...... well either way, nothing wrong with one girl saving another in distress i guess. ;)
Man, you guys need better English localization
The English text in the game is pretty laughable, but I appreciate the effort. The game does have a tendency to crash if you dont have a lot of RAM free, and for some reason I got stuck on the first stage after beating the one enemy. Its buggy, but I love sidescrollers and this game has some serious promise.
Full of Retro goodness!
Yes. It now works beautifully on my iPod touch 1G. Thanks mssg! This reminds me of the great retro games. I am thoroughly enjoying the multiple play modes. When you play as the hero girl, you have the venerable "analog" stick and three buttons. When you ride in the mecha, you have one stick for movement and one for firing. There are sound effects throughout, and there is a music score at the end of stages, very much in keeping with the type of game. I should mention that I am a sucker for this genre, so I totally love these types of games in spite, and sometimes because, of flaws. The games controls could be tweaked a little bit, especially the mecha controls, which in my opinion may have a target that is a little bit too small. I will try playing with my index finger, instead of my thumb to see... To me these are minor things, your mileage may vary... But as for me, Great Job mssg!

Dont be fooled by the price drop folks. I got this for .99 and its not even worth that much. Save your hard earned cash for something with better controls and a better use of the iPhone screen real estate. Last warning. Uber fail.

Hey where is the feature to play your music anyway? It says on the update play with yourmusic so where is it? Please reupdate the game!
