Blink is a simple, but effective memory training game. Blink is the first memory trainer developed specifically for Apple Watch and utilizes the simplicity of the Apple Watch interface to deliver the most efficient memory training possible.
Developed by PhD students at the University of Chicago, Blink has been engineered to expand your working memory, regardless of your age or prior education. Don’t let the simplicity of the method fool you, research shows that simple memory training tasks are the most efficient. Other apps fill the screen with too many distractions that actually undermine the memory building process.
Blink is based on a simple “sequence recall” method which has been shown to efficiently boost working memory. Colored circles are flashed on the screen in a particular sequence and the user must remember the sequence and punch it back in. With each new round, the sequence becomes one step longer, pushing the user’s memory to the limits.
