Blue Nile - Diamonds & Jewelry at Mac App Store analyse

I ordered a pair of earrings online and it stated I would get a birthday percent off and upon checking out it wouldn’t apply discount. Sadly paid full price without discount. ?

This app is not great. The filters for searching for loose diamonds are good, but the filters and sorting for any other jewelry is very limited. You can only filter by metal or price. There is no option to sort results. There is also no way to search for pairs of diamonds for diamond stud earrings on the app.

Yes I know this is meant to review the app. However, Blue Nile wont allow you to review their products on their web site unless you write a good review. If you write a bad review, they dont post it. I ordered a diamond ring, in their photos, it was absolutely stunning. When it arrived, it was the most disgusting stone. It was gray and dull and awful. This was a $17,000 ring, over a 2 carat round solitaire. They took it back, but they lied about the stone. I went to my local jewelers store, and by local, I mean a small local business and found the most amazing stone. See diamonds in person.

The app doesn’t include any search capabilities for colored diamonds. It’d be perfect if it added that capability.

I love this app. The programmers did a great job with it. It’s laid out so nicely, it’s easy to use, and it’s visually pleasing.

The app has its glitches but which one does t. Just expect the usual with some cool features.

I love searching for diamonds on the Blue Nile website, but this app is not as good. You cant select key diamond options like fluorescence, table size, depth, etc., so searching means having to click on a lot of stones that turn out to be not what you are looking for. You dont know until you click into each stones details. I would still enjoy the "try on" feature in the app, if I could find it. Ive searched all over that app. There is no "app help" feature either, so I cant get help with it. Im disappointed.
