Description
This application is intended to provide basic knowledge about Diabetes to those who have been newly diagnosed with the disease. This knowledge is crucial for patients to understand in order for them to effectively manage their disease. This app is based on the publications, ingenuity, data, and personal experience of Dr. S, a biochemical PhD from Japan. He is the author of a book titled “"My Type 2 Diabetes – Becoming an Expert Patient". The method described in his original work and this app aims to control the symptoms and markers of diabetes through a tighter control of diet and other lifestyle factors. Using this method, many patients with diabetes have found themselves able to 1) normalize their blood sugar, blood pressure, and lipid levels, and 2) avoid the economic strain that rampant diabetes places upon the individual and society.
