book’n’keep is easy to understand even for people that are not so into bookkeeping. Creating payables and receivables is only a few clicks away. If you enter your customers and vendors in advance you don’t have to care about standard payment terms, tax id numbers (VAT) etc. You even can define standard sales tax or number ranges in the master files. Even more you can enter all the assets like computers or phones and book’n’keep will take care of depreciation or simply gives you an overview what’s yours.
You can attach up to ten documents for every single transaction or asset which means that you can simply attach a digital copy of your customer invoices or the incoming invoice from a vendor. So the document is directly attached and can be opened and resent every time you need to.
Reports and statistics will give you a feeling how your company is situated at a specific time or for a specific period. You even can export all your transactions to a file if you need a personalized view of your data.
On top of that you can work on all your Macs as book’n’keep is going to sync all your data via iCloud. It really has never been easier.

Crashes often
Don’t be fooled by the slick, modern graphics. This program crashes every few entries. Restarts are quick, but I shouldn’t have to do that at all. I also quickly realized that although my business is small, I really do need double-entry accounting, so this just isn’t going to cut it.

Auf der Suche nach einem nicht zu komplizierten Programm für eine einfache Buchhaltung bin ich auf book´n´keep gestoßen Es ist leicht zu verstehen und einfach in der Handhabung, besonders praktisch ist die Möglichkeit jeder Buchung den Beleg als .pdf anzuhängen. So findet man auch nach längerer Zeit sofort den Originalbeleg Da das Programm gerade bei Version 1.06 angekommen ist, hat es noch viele Featuremöglichkeiten für die Zukunft Wirklich empfehlenswert A Meindl
Macht was es soll, mit einem sehr schnellen Support.
Erfüllt voll und ganz seinen Zweck, der Support reagiert schnell und freundlich. Einziges Manko ist, dass man im Formular die eigene Firma, welche auf der Rechnung erscheint nicht in Textform, sondern nur als Bilddatei einfügen kann.

Habe vor einiger Zeit schon mal eine Bewertung geschrieben, die zugegebenermaßen nicht besonders positiv aufgefallen ist! Aber durch die letzten Monate und Updates, wurde das Programm tatsächlich ein Erfolg! All die Dinge die ich bemängelt habe bei der Anwendung wurden behoben und es ist wirklich ein tolles kleines feines Tool, was einem kleinen Unternehmer wirklich starke Hilfe leistet! Sehr zu empfehlen!
Eigentlich nach letzten Updates ganz zufrieden, aber...
Ich nutze diese Software jetzt ca. ein halbes Jahr für meine freiberufliche Teilzeittätigkeit. Anfangs hat diese App für einiges Haareraufen gesorgt: Wieso kann man beispielsweise seine eigenen Unternehmensdaten nicht als Text eingeben, nur als Bild? Die einzelnen Spalten in den Rechnungsformularen lassen sich zwar im Formulareditor verschieben, sind aber in der fertigen Rechnung wieder so angeordnet wie ursprünglich. Das Problem mit den wenigen Positionen ist jetzt ja zum Glück behoben. Seit dem letzten Update und nachdem ich endlich eine Bilddatei als Briefkopf gestaltet hatte, war ich bis auf einige Kleinigkeiten ganz zufrieden. ABER dann habe ich einen einzigen Kunden aus der Schweiz in meine Kartei aufgenommen. Jetzt wird auch bei allen anderen Kunden in der Adresse „Schweiz“ als Land angegeben. Damit das ganze für mich aber möglichst peinlich wird, sieht man das weder im Programm oder in der Vorschaufunktion, sondern erst, wenn die Rechnung exportiert wurde. Ich hatte die Daten bisher immer innerhalb der App geprüft und daher nicht gemerkt, dass meine Kunden plötzlich alle die Schweiz in der fertigen Rechnung in der Anschrift hatten. Jetzt muss nicht nur ich alle Rechnungen neu schreiben (wie ich das Problem verhindere habe ich noch nicht rausgefunden), sondern auch meine Kunden müssen die Buchhaltung nachholen. MEGA nervig. Das Ganze fand übrigens NACH dem letzten großen Update statt.
Eigentlich
sehr gut, leider funktioniert seit dem letzten update die Darstellung der angehängten Dokumente nicht mehr - sie scheinen allerdings noch gespeichert zu sein. Bitte klären!
