… und nach langen Registrierungsorgien bei Steinberg hab ich das mit Wagelab Elements 8 aufgegeben, da mir meine Zeit zu Schade war und bin auf Boson gestossen. Feie Software - läuft flüssig und es hat alles an Bord, wasich brauche. Also ich vermisse nichts im Vergleich zu dem oben genannten. Macht Spass

Easy to use editor

Actually its a rather nice app. The UI is usually fast to respond on most projects but it struggles on bigger projects. For example the initial waveform display on a 3 hrs (3.6 GB) project file takes about 30 seconds with no visual feedback (like a progress bar). Silence detection is quite useful on web radio recordings. Once Boson has marked all non-silence parts of the track you can split and export into several formats. Hopefully the developer keeps up the good work. This app definately has its potential!

Wer nur mal kurz etwas an einer Sounddatei ändern will, ist hier genau richtig aufgehoben. Aufnehmen geht auch - ist aber natürlich kein Multi Track. Dafür gibts dann aber auch deutlich teurere Alternativen.

バージョン1.2.9にて、1.2.8まであった、保存時にビット深度を24、32ビットを選択しても保存されたファイルは16ビットとなっていた問題は改善されました。 あとは、環境設定などで、バッファーサイズなどもう少し細かい部分が設定できるようになればと期待します。 ○バージョン1.2.8まで、以下のバグがありました。 機能の良さで、つい購入しましたが、環境設定で192KHz / 24bitと設定して録音すると、プロパティでは24bitになっているが、保存時に再度24bitと指定しても保存されたデータは16bitになってしまう。この現象はサンプリング周波数に関係なく16bitとなってしまう。 このアプリは私としては、操作性が良いので、早期に改善される事を願っている。

I tried a bunch of audio editors but this one has all the features I need and works smoothly on my Retina MBP. In a recent update the devs added support for 3rd party audio plugins so you’re not limited to the built in audio effects any more. Which is a huge plus and gives a lot of freedom!

Boson has an attractive interface and has all the features I need. I find it much easier to use than the popular open source editor I had been using.
