All reviews →Good app
I have the one and other apps from the same company, theyre good, the moves are applicable and there is instructions as to how to set them up as well. They also do some pretty cool stuff with the scenery too, in my opinion this is one of the best if not the best one out there.
Ossssss!
Love the advanced movements! Part 1 was great but Part 2 steps it up with more advanced throws. This app is def going to help my stand up game. I love how the throws are custom fit for your Jiu-jitsu game. Its not a judo app. Check this out for yourself!
Excellent
Solid technique!
Instant gratification!
So glad I only had to wait about a week to get the next installment of this app. Same high quality that Ive come to expect. Solid techniques, clear explanation and demonstration - and unbelievable production value. Great Job!
Amazing!
Black Belt Mobile puts a first class BJJ seminar right in your pocket. HD instruction on the go. I love it, anytime I am waiting for something I pull out my iPhone and train my BJJ mind! Thank you coach Mike and Professor Bill for another great tool for my BJJ development. As always your work is top shelf!
Good production quality, but...
Like all the mobile black belt apps, this one shows off a spectacular production value and a clean step-by-step explanation followed by a full speed demo. The takedown explanations themselves however are severely lacking in understanding of balance breaking for throwing. In virtually every example the falling partner is flat-footed as the Professor enters to turn and throw, leaving him wide open to be countered or picked up and dropped. The static nature (as opposed to moving) of most of the demos also ends up omitting many of the important elements of what it takes to throw a larger opponent/attacker flat on his back to take control. I like most of the MBB apps; the chokes and open guard apps are on my phone right now. This one just seemed rushed.
Yet another well put together app
Definately a fantastic app. I had the opportunity to actually work with Professor Bill and Coach Mike while in CA. And I can honestly say that the classes convey exactly what is on video. Clear and consise no nonsense. Worth every penny, I cant wait till they actually further and expand the series.
