Description

Breast Cancer Care is a resource for women who are interested in learning about breast cancer prevention and treatment. This application provides a fun way to educate on how to reduce behavior and dietary risk factors related to developing breast cancer. It also uses location based GPS to identify the nearest National Cancer Institute Designated Cancer Care Center and interfaces with a location based website to reach Registered Dietitians in the US. Breast Cancer Care also offers the ability to learn about county and state level breast cancer mortality and prevalence rates throughout the US. The application provides online information on breast self-exams, and many other resources for breast cancer education, awareness, diagnosis, survivorship and treatment.
