Description

The British Museum is the home of several rare and invaluable time capsules from around the world. These are all beautifully arranged inside the museum so as to stunningly recreate the past so we can relive the bygone glory. More rewarding than the visit itself would be the cherished memories that you would create as you spellbindingly walk alongside artifacts from every corner of the world under it’s magnificent roof. Take your time and be transfixed by the awesomeness of the sights that unravel like a panaroma around you. Time will stand still and hold you mesmerised and you will be dumbstruck by the sheer size and awe inspiring scale of the antiquities that fill the museum’s corridors! While the Rosetta Stone is clearly what the museum is most famous for it is only the tip of the iceberg. As you navigate the museum you will be surprised at the overall beauty and breadth of the unparalleled collection in store. Apart from the obvious highlights covered in our exclusive app the British Museum is also home to one of the most invaluable collections of ancient Egyptian history, perhaps one of thr largest outside of Egypt. The drama and magnificence of the Assyrian lion hunts will hold sway over you, while the zen like calmness of the Asian section will leave you with an everlasting feeling of spiritual uplifting. Be prepared to be left speechless as you enter the Greek galleries that hold the Parthenon marbles. After the entire Greek temple was reduced to a rubble following a Venetian bombardmemt Lord Elgin had the foresight and enterprise to shift them indoors to preserve these pinnacles of art for prosperity. Visiting the British Museum is a soul searching experience for all. You can find ways to connect to our shared heritage of thousands of years of human history. You will find unique and remarkable ways to connect to our past, discover our human ancestors, explore long forgotten belief systems and unravel a maze of cultural fabrics that has underscored our coexistence since time immemorial. No matter which country you are from, we can assure you that you will find something in the British Museum that you will instantly connect to and it will become part of your cherished memory. So come and explore world history and rediscover everything that makes you you! And.. What better way to enjoy the museum than with an app put together by experts to make your visit seamless and stress free? Do carry your head phones to plug in and remember the buddy needs your audio buds!

Ohne Vollversion völlig nutzlos

Ankoll · 10 years ago · v4.5.3

Not useful

Kakmanello · 10 years ago · v4.5.3

No need to download

Useless App

cjbow · 10 years ago · v4.5.3

This app is basically useless. All it does is prompt you to pay extra and buy the upgraded App. I will delete immediately.

Pas mal

Daric240 · 12 years ago · v3.0.7

You should get it if u like British museum

shuye233 · 13 years ago

It brought me back to the time I visited there, which is a few years ago. Beside something added new during these years, everything just like it used to be. Great app for people want to visit but dont have time to take a visit! And it is easy to use!

Good but images needed to be bigger

jg5500 · 13 years ago

It would be much better to have bigger images of the objects that you could zoom in on

Great app

Very well laid out. A very handy tool if you are visiting the British museum.
