Description

A simple, easy to use external ballistics calculator. It accepts inputs of bullet weight, ballistic coefficient, muzzle velocity, sight height, zero range, wind speed & angle, etc and calculates velocity, energy, flight path, and drift. Features: * iCloud support. Store load data on iCloud and have it available on all your iCloud-enabled iOS devices. * Clean & simple user interface. * Store commonly used datasets. * Selectable drag function for ballistic coefficients calculate based upon models. * Selectable output units: inches, MOA, & mils. * Selectable max range and range increments under Settings. * Fetch weather conditions for your location. BulletDrop+ is intended for hand loaders and shooters of all varieties. It give them an idea what various cartridges and load recipes will do at the range. As alway, the information provided by BulletDrop+, or any other calculator, is no substitute for actual range time. Get out and shoot!

I upgraded to the BulletDrop+ after using the standard version so I could save my loads and choose the ballistic model and other options. Ive found the app to be really helpful for making shots out to 1000 yd. I have not experienced the crashes or loss of data problems reported by other users (knock on wood!). I gave it 4 stars since its easy to use and seems pretty accurate for my purposes, but lacks som e of the capability of higher priced apps like accounting for corriolis, spin drift, etc, but it doesnt cost as much either.

Wont save changes

I like most of the features but you can only edit a few items before the app refuses to save changes. You must close the app from the close all app feature on iphone before making more changes. This is annoying for an otherwise good program.

Dont even waste your money.

The plus version is pointless. Just get the other lower version. Its simpler and easier to use.

Very nice app. I use it at the range and its right on. I like the crosswind capability, very handy. Easy to use.

Pretty nice app. Was able to range out to 500yards and with the help of the app dialed is the correct adjustments. Was plinking fist sized rocks all day. Pretty handy app to have as a reference.

Good Ap. Does (almost) everything it claims to do. Would like to submit question to author but his web site (for support) is closed. This Ap is flexible enough to make it do what you need. Recommend, but theres no support available. Maybe you should try the free version instead...that way you get what you pay for.
