Colorful and Cute

What We Liked: I’ve had a hard time getting a chance to look at Bumble’s Jumble because whenever I open it, my three-year-old runs up and starts completing the puzzles. She loves building these simple, bright puzzles in order to watch the simple animations at the end. I like the option to have the puzzles randomly shuffle, effectively eliminating navigation for toddlers using the app. This set of toddler puzzles is a great first choice for when your child is ready to start working on simple jigsaws after they are confident working on the shape-based type of wooden puzzles. The outlines are still there like a shape-based puzzle, but they are now filled in with simple six-piece jigsaws. What We Didn’t Like: The advanced puzzle building setting is quite difficult, the gestures required to rotate the pieces are tricky, and virtually impossible to pull off on the smaller screen. It is even a bit tricky on the big screen. Also, while the name of the object is displayed when the object is completed, there is no audio of the word being spoken – it would be nice if the word was said, and if the finished puzzled could be tapped to hear it again as well. Overall: Bumble’s Jumble is a cute, simple set of puzzles that serves as a great transition between shape puzzles and jigsaws. Small children will have lots of fun practicing the spatial reasoning and visual perception skills that building puzzles help develop. I received a promo code.

I like that there are2 levels of difficulty, that the puzzle becomes animated when you finish it, you can turn off the music, and that the links to social media are hidden on the info/ settings page. Great app!

HIghest difficulty setting can be a bit fiddly, but overall a nice puzzle app.
