Description
The Burn Center at Riley Hospital for Children at IU Health in coordination with the Child Life Program has developed an app designed to help children learn about bandage changes and the operating room (OR) experience.
With the guidance of a Child Life Specialist, children can use My Burn Journey to explore the places, procedures, people and equipment they encounter during their stay in the hospital. Children will also have the opportunity to play games within the app that are fun, yet help to further familiarize them with the experience of being in the hospital.
