Description

A small encoder / decoder for shift-cyphers. Simply select the offset with the slider and enter the text to encoder or enter the cyphertext. Then press the corresponding button wether to encode or decode. An offset of 3 (A is replaced with D) is called "Ceasar-cypher".The method is named after Julius Caesar, who used it to communicate with his generals. An offset of 13 (A is replaced with N) is commonly used for geocaching. Simple, handy and really easy to use.
