Not the greatest news app

Totally deleting. After the update the brilliant minds have decided to charge for the app? Scr*w you. Ctv among other apps have been better and have not decided to bamboozle readers into buying further app content. We realize nothing is done without a cost but to do it the way you did is underhanded. Bye bye to the Calgary sun app. Its embarrassing to have our citys name attached to this poorly executed (in more ways than one) app.

This was a decent app before they upgraded. Now .99 cants for seven days, no thanks!! Ill use the Herald for free on my iPad.

Totally agree with the rest of the reviews here. Upgraded App is a POS. I can easily get my news elsewhere for free. Deleting the App now...

Crashes, crashes, crashes. Wont load, wont update. Now they want $$. Was about to delete it, then saw update. Thought they might have worked out the many bugs crawling all over its software. But no. Just want to charge for something thats probably just going to have the same problems. Dont pay a dime folks. Was useless when it was free. BRUTAL! Hang you heads in shame SUN

Sun decided to start charging for the website and app. Their crappy journalism was hardly worth it when it was free, and is certainly not worth it now. I hope they lose a lot of web traffic and as a result advertisement revenue as a result of this.

What a joke! The so called upgrade just done wont load the app now. It was not worth the time of day before. Definitely not worth it now. Plus they want us to pay for it. Get a grip and grab a brain!
