But, sometimes it helps to have words and a face to form a sense of connection when you turn to the Lord for support. The Calling Heaven App lets you get to know Jesus and the Carmelite saints as if you were meeting and talking to them personally. You explore their wisdom and process your reactions all within the same app. Calling Heaven is actually two apps in one. Part One: Quotes, Education and Reference Calling Heaven offers over 1000 quotes, life biographies and prayers from 8 Carmelite saints and 500 quotes from Sacred Scripture by Jesus Christ. This app can be used during moments of difficulty or stress to find consolation and insight to lifes daily trials. For those who love or who want to get to know the Carmelite saints, this is a fun way to begin learning or to enrich your understanding. After using Calling Heaven for a while, you may start to feel like Jesus and the saints have become your friends who help you when you need them. Part Two: Organized Journals The second half of the app is for journaling. This part of the app also gives you more than you might expect, three journals instead of just one. This way, you can organize your thoughts as you contemplate the wisdom of the saints. These journals are designed for brief notes and not long diary entries, in order to help personalize and track your experience. This is a place to keep track of your questions, so you can pull that up easily to ask a friend or your priest.
