Poor app in comparaison of Food IQ. Not worth the money.

Limited database

jwatson72 · 17 years ago

No results for several items Ive searched for. It would be nice if you could search by category or calorie limit. A favorites list would also be great. Hopefully future updates will add additional functionally.

Great resource

Would like to see the database increased over time.

ver 1.1.2 Ipod touch

Seems like a good database. The database seems strangely indexed and is time consuming to search. Also it would be useful if liquids are also indicated in mililitres (cc) and not only fluid ounces or grammes. When I take a galss of wine I measure it in ounces, cups or mililitres, never grammes. There is a great deal of data and the addition of points is really useful to have but needs work on the implimentation to make it really useful. It would be also useful if one could add poins or calories to a daily database to track consumption.

Not worth the $0.99

Obxidian · 15 years ago

The database is looked fairly comprehensive, and the formatting was similar to that of most Canadian food nutrition labels (probably why things are measured in grams). Thats what initially caught my eye. Upon further usage, I found that the tables did not format properly. You are also not able to track your total caloric intake like some other apps Ive perused through. The interface is mediocre at best. Predictive typing doesnt kick in immediately. The dev here seem to be looking for a quick buck. There are probably better web based databases out there that can do a better job. This app is NOT worth the buck I paid for. DO NOT BUY.

Great value, easy to use

I was suprised at the completeness of this apps database because its only 99 cents. Also settled a couple of bets during dinner with my girlfriend. Pretty awesome!
