Canfield Solitaire Card Games at Mac App Store analyse

This would be a nice Canfield card game to play but ADS and no way to pay to remove them. Will delete and wait for a paid version.

I find Canfield fun and challenging with real cards. This electronic version plays very well! The layout on the iPad is pleasing, with plenty of tasteful, nicely done graphics for the card backs and playing area. Yes, there are ads but I didnt find them distracting. I even won the game once! I cant review the sound though because I like to play silently and forgot to try it before reviewing! Ive paid for single solitaire card games that were not nearly as slick as this. If you like Canfield you should try this one.

Pretty good game. I do wish it would count the cards won at the end. I think in the real game one would get $5 back of his $50 bet for each card won. Also, I always heard that in Csnfield, one was allowed to play the deck through once with one card at a time, or three times at three cards at a time. This game gives infinite times through the deck.

I started using this in lieu of Solebons horrible app that occasionally lets you play a game between the ads. Anyway, this app has stability problems. Hit "undo" too many times and it will crash without saving the game. Restart brings it up to an earlier game in progress. Also undo doesnt always restore the proper cards in the pack. And it needs a confirmation window for new or replay game, because the buttons are close together and it is easy to hit the wrong one.

When my app was updated, my past status was erased. My status on the new app is not working. The graphics are not attractive. There are lots of commercials also. This is a downgrade not an upgrade.
