I have been using the old version that needed Rosetta and was more than happy to read about the new version. It does what it should: Collecting future money movements including recurring items. Very simple and slick. The graph looks ugly for mac users but it gives you what you need for your cash flow planning. Each calculation is saved in a new file - you can have one for your personal accounts and one for your small business- or for different scenarios. Yes, you could do it with excel. But 1. Excel is from Microsoft and 2. Recurring items are not easy to implement. Features wish list: 1. Link to banking software 2. Add categories and Budgets 3. Add subitems

Simple but effective Cash Flow Tool
Einfach aber sehr gut
schöne einfache aber sehr gute Lösung. Unkompliziert in der Bedienung und aussagekräftige grafische Darstellung. Sehr zufrieden.
Great idea, good app but needs some polish
Ive been searching for a simple solution like this to replace cashflow tracking on a spreadsheet. This app is great for it, just needs some polish and shine to it and a few minor feature add ons and it will be an outstanding app. Have emailed the developers on a few points and with some suggestions and am waiting to hear back. One note is to enter negative numbers you have to do it with ( ). IE -50 should be entered as (50) which is a pain. Update #2: Day after ammending my review I heard back from the developer, so am re-adjusting the star rating to 3 at this point. Still need to hear back on my actual concerns, but its progress. Update: After 14 days I have not received any response from the developer on some issues and concerns I had with the app.. its a neat app, but with no support I would not recommend purchasing it. Hopefully the developer improves their support and response to paying customers and the app grows and gets better, but for now, keep your money in your wallet.
Does exactly what it says on the tin
Not a budgeting program, but a forecasting program: if you have $thismuchmoney now, and you expect a certain set of incomes and expenses, what will you have six months from now? eight months? a year and a half? It handles both one-time and repeating incomes and expenses well (including unusual intervals like "every 75 days"). You can easily create multiple scenarios and compare them. No other Mac program I can find does this nearly so well (and Ive looked hard). And all for a tiny price. Sure, the interface coud be better, but this is nonetheless a really useful utility.
Its very raw and basic, but easy to work with!
Its very raw and basic, but easy to work with. It forecasts balances into the future. I was able to see my future balance in just 15 minutes of input of information (bills and income).
Would be useful if I could enter expenses
Current version wont accept negative numbers and so you cant actually enter any expenses. The old free version 0.6 worked - how did this problem not come up in testing? If it was actually capable of managing both income and expenses, it looks like exactly the app Id want.
I am negative on the lack of negatives
CashForecaster does not accept negative numbers. Everything is treated as income.
