Mic Check...
The microphone doesnt seem to be working. Has anyone else been able to get the microphone to work? Ive given 3 *s because it looks nice, easy to understand how to operate, and the sound works. Although, I have not tried the metronome. It would be nice to have this app improved. There are other digital tuners available on App Store, but I am not sure how to set them up properly for a cello instrument. There are a few other cello tuner apps, however, none of them offer microphone feature.
It worked.
You get what you pay for. It asked to allow my microphone access in the app, I said yes. I have a fully updated iPhone 6+ (no s), and so far no problems. It hears the cello, and turns red when out of tune and blue when in tune, and also tells what note it is hearing (such as if it hears F# instead of G.
Not good
Its a very confusing app and there is a problem with the microphone. Even after I went to settings to "allow microphone" for the app it wouldnt work.
Poor at both tuning and as a metronome
Lets you choose exact frequency of note to tune to, which is nice. However, tuning notes are not long enough, nor do they repeat. Not easy to tune to. Metronome is where the really bad part is, though. Doesnt keep time properly at all. The beat comes early intermittently.
