Created for Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum’s ‘A Century of Style: Costume and Colour 1800-1899’ – the first major exhibition featuring our European costume collection since 1992 – this app allows users to find out more about items of nineteenth-century costume and jewellery. Featuring gorgeous new photography and recent research on 75 objects users will be able to explore techniques and dyes, and find out about the stories of their makers, retailers and wearers.
