Very good 3d brain visualizer and learning tool

izb · 16 years ago

Very good and complex tool to get a spatial imagation of the human brain. Cerebral areas and their localization are presented in a virtual model. You see the names integrated in the 3d model. Its a class for its own. You can go into the deep regions and get an isolated view to e.g. the limbic system or pathways. It makes it possible to easily learn in an enactive way. Spatial properties and dimensions are offered in a simple to use and interactive way. As working in the field of neurotheory I recommend this tool for my students for a first start and memory aid. By the way its really fascinating to have look at.

立体的に位置が把握でき、名前も覚えられる良いアプリです。二本指フリックで画面の中の配置を変えられるっていうのが最初わかりませんでした。操作性がもう少し良くなるといいですが、無料でこれはかなりいいと思います。

A new dimension on the brain

ab_ba · 17 years ago

A surprisingly rich and detailed tour of brain anatomy. The controls are intiutive. This app goes beyond an anatomy textbook, since the interactive 3D display gives you a more tangible feel for whats where in the brain than any atlas could provide. A great learning tool for students, and fun for anyone who just wants to know whats where in the brain!
