CF MedCare, the Cystic Fibrosis Treatment Reminder app, is designed to help people living with CF manage their condition: • Create daily schedules for medications and activities • Receive notifications to take medication and complete activities • Add family members, friends or CF Care Team to help you remember to complete scheduled activities • Keep track of appointments, measurements and how you feel • Get rewarded for your personal achievements with points and badges • Create monthly drug compliance records for your CF Care Team The CF MedCare app allows you to create your own personal medication schedule. The app will then send you an alert when it’s time to take your medication and complete activities. It can even let you know when its time to renew your prescriptions. And if you have ever tried to remember if you have taken a particular pill, CF MedCare can help. The app allows you to create a record of when you took each therapy. The records created by CF MedCare can help your doctor too. You can send your Health Care Team an email record of all the medicines you have taken at the push of a button to help them see how you are managing your treatment. Note that the upfront set-up might take some time as you need to input all the information about your therapeutic regime or any activities you want to be reminded of. But once you are all set, we hope the app will be a good ally in managing your CF!
