Have you ever wondered how safe the mini cabs you take are? Especially late at night, or you are a visitor in a big city like New York, or London.
In London alone, recent statistics show that 11 women are attacked each month after taking an unlicensed minicab.
Perhaps you have seen the stories on the news yourself about women and tourists who have had bad experiences when taking unlicensed mini cabs.
Furthermore, if you take an unlicensed mini cab and you are involved in an accident, you may not be covered by the insurance.
This application helps you get safely to your destination in London and New York (more cities to be added soon) by helping you take only licensed mini cabs.
Your current city (or the closest supported city) is determined from your current location (you can change your selected city on the information page, if you wish to override this selection).
Just enter the licence plate of the mini cab and we will check it against a database of licensed mini cabs in your current city.
If the mini cab is licensed, we will tell you the make and model of the car (if available), for you to check, for extra peace of mind before getting in.
Otherwise we will advise you not to take the mini cab.
