CheckBook at Mac App Store analyse

Just downloaded it today to replace my Quicken 2002, as I will be upgrading to Lion OS soon. As most Mac users know by now, "Lion Kills" and one of the many older programs it kills is Quicken. Well, was probably time to update anyway. So far I am very happy with Checkbook. It seems like a pretty good bang for the buck. Didnt want an accounting program; just something to keep track of a couple of chequing accounts and savings accounts. It seems to do the job very nicely and was very easy to understand. I havent entered any yet, but it looks as if it will track other simple investments such as GICs and TDs quite well too. Id recommend it for anyone who is looking for a simple, basic money managing system.

I have used this program fro a number of months now, and foiund it to be excellent. It is felxable, and allows me to add accounts and manage various financial items. Transfering between accounts is easy and automatic one set up. I would recommend it.

This is a very easy app to use. Had a problem shortly after downloading but Splasm’s tech support was terrific in resolving the problem. They responded to my email almost immediately with a solution. I wouldn’t hesitate to purchase Splasm apps.

The program is a simple checkbook register that lets you track several different accounts. You can make manual entries or you can easily import your transactions from your bank. The drawer gives you a quick visual of where you stand with all your accounts. It is also possible to schedule upcoming transactions if you wish. I dont want a huge bloated program that wants to control my financial life. I just want a program that shows me where I stand. This application is perfect for me.

Quicken abandoned us because we got a new up date to the computer programming and I lost all my records up to that point. I purchased Checkbook in hopes that this will be a little safer.

It has everything that I need to keep my checkbook balanced! I love the schedule function for monthly expenses.
