實用、美觀

雖然它與另一個軟體相比,少了彊域及歷代皇帝名(希望下版更新能補入)。但在查對干支方面很方便,繁體字美感佳,中國味濃。

Very useful for students of Chinese history and art history

This app allows you to convert, with ease, a cyclical date to its western calendar equivalent. It is especially useful if you know the dynasty and reign-era. You have to bear in mind, of course, that the lunar and solar years begin at different times so that the 12th month of any given cyclical year generally falls into the following western calendar year. For example, the current wuzi year, listed as 2008, doesnt actually end until January 26, 2009, so January 1-25, 2009 are still in the wuzi year. It would be great if one could convert the month (yue) and day (ri) as well as the year in order to find the exact equivalent day in the calendar, but this is a good start.

iPad app please!
