Description

Chopper 2 is the highly anticipated sequel to the best selling Mac and App Store classic Chopper. Chopper 2 features 36 action packed missions over 12 unique and beautiful locations. It features a completely re-written 3D game engine, all new enemies, weapons, graphics, and missions, while still retaining the classic side scrolling game-play. Escort a convoy of vehicles across the desert, or defend a train from enemies emerging from underground mines. Use your laser sight to line up enemies emerging from stairwells in the city. Chase down lines of enemy tanks and choppers while avoiding heat seeking missiles, gunfire and bird strike. Help your allies defend against advancing armies, and rescue stranded civilians, all while trying to complete your mission as fast as possible for the highest score. Chopper 2 uses high resolution graphics and effects built for display right up to 2560x1600 pixels. It uses keyboard and mouse for control, and features a 17 minute long original soundtrack. If you also have an iPhone or iPod Touch, you can use the fantastic remote control feature to wirelessly control the Mac version with an iPhone or iPod Touch over WiFi. Simply download the free Chopper 2 Wireless Controller app from the App Store.

I saw the amazing price and couldnt resist buying this app. When i started it up the first thing that couldnt be missed was the amazing graphics. I was very satisfied for what i paid and enjoyed the game for a few days. The only downside is the game became repetative, fly here, shoot this, dont die. It is a great game i just wished they would add a little bit more to the levels to mix it up. The games graphics are what put this at a 5 star review instead of 4. I would defanitely recommend this app for its current cheap price!

There should be more games like this!!

I am surprised by how this interaction between the iMac and iPhone isnt a bigger buzz right now, this is truely awesome to be able to use you iPhone as a controller! Completely different experience, more like a console video game rather than a computer game, 5 stars for sure

Best game Ive downloaded yet! and the price is unbeatable! I absolutely love playing this game and its actually fairly addicting. Love it. Ill be buying Chopper 3 if it comes out for sure.

Beutiful graphics, spatial game effects, amazing universal device remote, strong music, epic gameplay and a suspensful stroyline. Buy this while you can becuase it is amazing without any doubt.

Im not usually a helicopter kind of person, but this game looked cool, and the developer is a cool guy also, so I bought this, as well as the iPhone version. I must say, that this is one of the most fascinating games on the casual side that Ive played. The graphics are great. Not cartoony, but still soft and pleasing to the eye. The absolute coolest part of this game for me so far is using the iPhone as a remote to control the chopper with the iPhones accelerometer. It works beautifully. Seriously, Im impressed by how smooth the whole system works, and I am very much eager for more games to have similar "iPhone-as-controller" functionality. (of course, the game is still just as awesome with a keyboard, but its one of those extra "holy crap, this is neat!" factors, you know?) And as of this writing, Chopper 2 on iPhone and Mac are only $1 each, so its a no-brainer to try it out. I doubt youll be disappointed.
