Per un mese ho utilizzato quest’app cercando di adattarmi. Alla fine per fortuna ho trovato un’alternativa gratuita e decisamente superiore in FreeFileSync (la consiglio a tutti). ChronoSync è eccessivamente complicata e non ti trasmette sicurezza che i file sono stati effettivamente salvati. Ho effettuato varie prove e alcune volte “dimenticava” dei file per strada. Usate FreeFileSync e non fate il mio errore di acquistare ChronoSync

Utile ma eccessivamente complicata
Crashed twices, erasing all files
Recently I started to use Chronosynch Express to synchronize the ~/Document directory of my macs. The first problem is that it is too slow on my LAN, so I have to synch via USB key or SDXC card. The second problem is way more serious, as it concerns data integrity. Chronosynch Express crashed twice, and in both cases I had a large part of ~/Document erased. Worse, it propagated deletions to the other mac without giving a warning. Same if you abort it intentionally. Fortunately, the Time Machine saved my files. Now I am looking for a replacement.

Trés bonne application de synchronisation Tout est en français ce quil facilite grandement les choses Beaucoup de paramétrages possibles mais on peut aussi utiliser les paramétrages standards qui permettent de configurer rapidement la synchronisation.

Das App kenne ich von früheren Versionen und war immer sehr zufrieden. Diese Version stürzt nur ab. Bekomme leider kein Backup damit hin. Also rausgeworfen Geld

Ich habe verschiedene Programme für automatische Backups und die Synchronisation von Ordnern ausprobiert. ChronoSync ist geblieben. Diese App arbeitet zuverlässig, und jeder Job lässt sich sehr individuell und praxisnah konfigurieren. Wenn ich über die Aktivitäten von ChronoSync informiert werden möchte, kann ich das entsprechend einstellen. Wenn ich nicht bei der Arbeit gestört werden möchte, macht ChronoSync seinen Dienst völlig unbemerkt im Hintergrund. Die Oberfläche des Programmes ist sehr übersichtlich, aufgeräumt und selbsterklärend. Die Aktivitäten von ChronoSync werden gestartet nach Zeitplänen (sehr detailliert!), oder nach definierten Aktionen - wenn z.B. ein Datenträger verfügbar wird. Was mir dabei noch fehlt, ist das Starten eines Backups / einer Synchronisation unmittelbar nachdem der Inhalt des betreffenden Ordners geändert wurde. Hier wäre noch Luft nach oben… Alles in allem: ein kleiner Helfer, dessen stille Gegenwart im Arbeitsalltag sehr bald unverzichtbar wird - nicht erst, wenn der schlimmste Fall eingetreten ist ganz plötzlich an der Verlässlichkeit eines Backups die Existenz von unwiederbringlichem hängt...
Tut was sie soll!
Hatte mir zuerst die Testversion von ChronoSync heruntergeladen und getestet. Arbeitet alles wie es soll. Hab dann festgestellt, dass Express alles kann was ich brauche, somit der Kauf der „Vollversion“ unnötig ist. Ich synchronisiere Ordner auf meinem Mac mit Ordnern auf einer externen Festplatte und diese Festplatte synchronisere ich dann nochmal mit einer zweiten Festplatte. Funktioniert alles schnell und zuverlässig. Wie es muss.
