CityTransit is a complete guide to the New York City Subway system. The locator tool uses GPS to help you find the nearest subway station and integrates with the Maps application. Dieses App ist super für unterwegs in NY: man muss nicht ständig diese riesigen Subway Fahrpläne auseinanderfalten, stattdessen hat man diesen (original) im iPod. Dann muss man zwar den iPod rausholen, dieser ist aber wesentlich handlicher! Dazu gibt es noch für die einzelnen Routen die Stationen sowie andere Informationen. Also ein äußerst nützliches App aber vielleicht ein klein bisschen zu teuer (2,39€). Ich fände 1,59€ oder 79ct angemessener! PS: bei mir funktioniert die "Locate" Option nicht!

die beste App für die Subway in NYC ist iTrans: dort gibt es alles, was es hier nicht gibt. GPS-Lokalisation, Liniennetz + Straßenkarte, Abfahrtzeiten sortiert nach Haltestelle, Linienverlauf, aktuelle Infos etc. Kann hier nur müde lächeln, CityTransit braucht kein Mensch

For the price this program is ok but compared to the free program metro (for Windows and Palm) that includes routing instructions this one needs some work. The GUI is good and the map was fine. I used the program and found it helpful.

Worth the price entirely; it is super useful for a NYC trip. Things that would improve this app are: google maps integration and borough bus maps, which are sadly missing

I downloaded this app before arriving in NYC for the first time ever. Found it came in handy so many times when trying to figure how to get where I wanted to go. Nice clean interface. Well worth the $3.

nice but a bit pricey for what it is

I find this app really useful, theres no denying that, but compared to what other apps do, $2.99 for this is a bit on the expensive side of things. For $0.99, I would have given it a five-star rating, but at the price theyre selling it, I cannot in good conscience give it more than three stars. Whats there is great, but by the very nature if it, there just isnt enough substance in this app to justify a three dollar price tag in my humble opinion. And did I mention it could be cheaper? ;)
