Civil Defense Radio Kit 1: In Time of Emergency brings an extraordinary piece of Cold War history to your iPhone or iPod Touch. This app gives you one touch access to a collection of ten 60 second radio spots that were created in 1958 by the United States Department of Defense (Office of Civil Defense) and distributed to radio stations around the country to be broadcast in an attempt to provide the public with instruction on what to do in case of nuclear attack. A very interesting bit of ephemera that you can now have at the ready on your iPhone or iPod Touch.
