Thats fine to see CCL (Common Lisp) on the Apple Store. Currently, the interface is still somewhat rough, but thats a nice move for LISP lovers.
nouvelle version et mise à jour fréquente ces temps ci
merci pour cette mise à jour, c’est très pratique de l’avoir sur app store. C’est un lisp très complet avec son éditeur inclus, vraiment le top pour ce lisp spécial Mac. installer quicklisp et pour nous français, aller dans preferences->general et décocher ”use option key as meta” ça permet d’utiliser la touche option pour les ”~” nécessaires pour format.
Ein Geschenk
Vielleicht ist das Interesse an Lisp ja inzwischen eine Alterserscheinung. Für mich hat die Sprache in einigen Jahrzehnten nicht an Faszination verloren und eine derart ausgereifte Implementierung einfach mal so zu bekommen, ist ein Geschenk. Für Hobby-Lisper empfehle ich als Begleitbuch Conrad Barskis „Land of Lisp - Learn to program in Lisp, one game at a time."
Building Hemlock?
This version of ccl bundles everything into an App, which is convenient in some ways. Unfortunately, I cant figure out how to run ccl from a shell, or how to build Hemlock in this configuration, which limits its usefulness. Perhaps Im missing something here.

Common Lispを学びたいがEmacsが苦手な人へ
Common Lispの開発環境をMac App Store経由でインストールできるところが特徴です。Common Lispの言語を学習したいが、ほとんどのチュートリアルなどで前提とされているEmacsテキストエディタの操作を覚えずに済みます。Emacsを知らない人は、その独特な操作体系により、コピー＆ペーストの操作あたりで拒否反応が出てしまい、肝心のCommon Lispの学習そのものを断念せざるを得ない人もいるのではないでしょうか。一方このClozure CLの内蔵テキストエディタは、標準的なMacのテキストエディタと同じ操作ですので、本来の目的であった言語学習に専念できるというものです。
