ClueFinders 3rd Grade at Mac App Store analyse

I bought this game for my 8 year old son. I am currently homeschooling him and thought that this game may lighten up the intensity of BOOKS BOOKS BOOKS! He played it for the first time today and didnt want to stop...he told me he was actually surprised how difficult it is in spots and that it is a nice challenge. There is an adventure story that goes along with many short game challenges. It is a good game combining education and entertainment a great way to impliment things that kids this age are already learning. The best part is that they wont even think about it as doing work/school but rather as having fun :) My only problem with the game is the price, imo its a little high for the value.

THE KIDS LOVED THE GAME BUT AT A CERTAIN POINT IN THE STORY LINE THE GAME CRASHES. I HAVE SO FAR SENT TWO REPORTS OFF TO THE CLUE FINDERS 3RD GRADE SUPPORT AND THEY HAVE NOT REPLEID BACK IN OVER A WEEK. I WILL GIVE IT 5 STARS IF THEY WILL FIX IT FROM CRASHING.

My 2ed grader has been working on this game obsessively for 2 days. I have to work with him and give him strategies for solving the problems or he would resort to guessing until he got the right answer. A wide variety of skills are addressed and the character/story line is engaging enough to motivate him to continue through the most challenging exercises. We are learning core skills without the battle of sitting him down with a pencil and paper :). I have had 0 technical problems with the program.

I used to play this when I was younger! So glad I could find it on the Mac store without having to order the actual disc. Could you please put up Cluefinders The Mystery of the Missing Amulet. That would be awesome!

I bought this app because I loved this game as a kid and wanted to revisit it, and its exactly what I remembered and looks great. But it crashes near the end of the game after you complete the red bridge at the bottomless pits of doom and recrashes whenever you try to start over again, which is why Im only giving it 3 stars.

purchased this game for $14.99. A big disappointment as the the main game displays on the tiny area in the center. There is no option to mazimize the play area. Kids had hard time to play due to main gain display in the smail area. The price does not justify the old graphics of the game. I want my money back!! thanks,

My little twin brothers adored with game and whipped through it- unfortunately, they had the same issue as uglypottamus where the game crashed right as the kids moved to the final level of the game. It was so dissappointing for them to work so hard to get there and need to start all over. :( Hopefully it will be fixed soon?
